Mojo Monday 251: a shower, wedding or anniversary card idea

This year is one of those years where we have weddings and showers to attend. When I saw today’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge, I decided to use it to create a card that could be used for a wedding, a bridal shower, or to send anniversary wishes to friends or family. I love the simplicity of this week’s sketch. Take a peek at the sketch and what it inspired me to create…

A few items to note:
* My printer is on strike until it is “fed” more ink so I could not print out the sketch photo and write in the dimensions. The card stock on the left side measures 2″ by 3-3/4″ and the pieces on the right are 1-3/4″ by 2-3/4″
* As you can see in a couple of the photos, I elected to use Stampin’ Dimensionals for both the butterflies and the base that they sit on…this simply adds a little more interest to the card.
* My last step was to stamp the image (yes, after adhering all the card stock)…however, that became the second to last step. The “t” in together was too faint and so I used one of my markers to draw it in. Truly one of things that I love most about Stampin’ Up! is that the products work with one another such that the ink and marker colors are the same.

Enjoy!
